Summer

Summer...

The time that is supposed to be relaxing with the sun beating down on your shoulders, sending a spray of light brown freckles across your face, and making you smile like a giddy 5-year-old.

However, this summer has been trying, at best. 

I am in my last summer of the Master's Program for Music Education.

This is not something I cannot attain...however, there is this little thing happening in about two weeks that is the culmination of two years of study...

ORALS.

Orals is the thing I have nightmares about...

It's one of those things that makes your palms sweat and hands shake.

However, I know I CAN do this!

I know that I'm freaking out now and that when I go through it, I will look back and say, "what was I so worried about?" 

But, right now, it IS that thing I worry about....

I don't even feel like I can sit down to watch TV or post a blog because I feel that I should be studying. 

Oh my. I will be SO glad when this is over!!!!

It's on the downward spiral now...

Classes are over on the 19th and orals are some time around the 14th. So, I have about two weeks left.

I CAN do this!!!!

Then, next school year, I will be SO glad I did :)
